Will my grades alone cause me to not get accepted into bfa musical theatre programs?

My gpa (unweighted) is a 3.1 (I have a P grade for second semester freshman year AP Bio, essentially meaning I failed the course but got a 5 on the EOC) and I have an SAT of 1320. Basically, is there just a baseline I have to meet for Musical Theatre schools? Or will my grades be directly competing against the other applicants’ grades? Do I JUST have to meet the baseline, or do I have to AT LEAST meet the baseline, but it still might not be enough to get academically accepted? My top schools that I’d really love to go to are Pace, University of Michigan, Baldwin Wallace, Texas State University, Elon, and Oklahoma City. Thank you for your responses!

For the requirements for Michigan are on the website. You must have a minimum 3.1 and an ACT of 24 or SAT of 1180. I am not sure how they handle the “P” grade and if it will bring you below 3.0. The other place grades matter is NYU. They generally count for 1/2 the admissions decision. I swear I read somewhere that grades mattered at Elon but I am not seeing that. Grades very much matter for scholarships. It is the general consensus that you really want to avoid taking out loans for an MT degree if you intend to be in the business as your career.
