Will my offer get rescinded?

Long story short - Withdrew from Calc 2 (missed the add/drop) in order to take it over the Summer. Got hit with a major surprise getting accepted into a t30 school as a Junior transfer. Calc 2 is the very last requirement needed for me to successfully transfer into my desired program and will complete it over the Summer. However, I am in panic mode because there is a conditional in my acceptance letter stating that after I make my enrollment deposit that I will have my final transcript looked over and I have completed all the coursework with exceptional grades.

I don’t know if I should go nuclear and e-mail/call the school or just let it ride since my transcript will show that I will be taking Calc 2 over the Summer. Either way isn’t putting in my deposit first and foremost my best option? I’m reading that getting an offer rescinded is extremely rare unless you’re failing classes or committed a crime.

You’ll need to talk to the college and ask if taking it over the summer will be acceptable. Have you talked to your guidance counselor/adviser about this?

The grown-up thing to do is face issues head on and contact the school immediately. They may not allow you to take the class over the summer. Or maybe they can do it on an exception basis. Weather in school or later at work people like to hear about a problem directly rather than just find out about it by and by. And it’s not a sure thing that your transcript will show courses in progress. Colleges ask for a final transcript and for all you know it will just show the coursework you have completed
