Will my transfer acceptance be rescinded?

Hi, this is my first time I post a thread on College Confidential. I've just registered now b/c I'm really worried about my current situation, and afraid and not really confident to directly contact new schools' transfer coordinators...

Here is my story: I just finished my 2nd semester of the sophomore year and I got a GPA of below 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (I totally lost my enthusiasm and interest in my current school. That's why I decided to transfer). My past three semester GPA's were 3.76, 3.51 and 3.54 (cumulative was about 3.60). But because of the only GPA that is below 2.5, my cumulative GPA dropped down to 3.28. The cumulative GPA of 3.28 still looks fine (62 semester credits), but my last semester 2.34 GPA looks really bad (also when calculating the average GPA of my sophomore year, it's 2.94, which is still below 3.0). So I have been wondering if my transfer acceptance will be rescinded because of that 2.34 GPA (15 credits; five 3-credits courses; C- B- C B C+; I asked my friend and he told me that since I have no D's or F's, and since the 2.34 GPA is the only GPA below 3.0 I ever received, I will be fine. But I've also read a few posts on the Internet saying that someone got rescinded because of a significant drop in GPA). I received acceptance from USC, UCB, NYU and Cornell (I didn't send a deposit or a final transcript yet). I'm really worried right now...

Thank you for reading my long story and I really appreciate any help from those who had similar experiences as me... Thanks a lot in advance!

Rescinding may be a possibility. Unfortunately only the schools can decide that. But you can have some hand in getting them to NOT rescind.
You can’t change your grades.
You have to submit a final transcript.
So you can send transcript and hope they don’t rescind OR (what I would do) is also reach out to someone ins admissions. You have to maturely acknowledge there was a drop in your scores, and humbly explain that this is not typical of you - that this will not continue, etc. I wouldn’t even mention the possibility of rescinding, you’re just explaining the low final semester grades. I feel that it’s easier to drop someone if they’re just a random file than a human person you’ve interacted with. Hopefully it’ll all work out and at least you have several acceptances so if one should rescind (knock on wood) you’d still have some options.
