I’ve been accepted to the University of West Florida, and my grades have always been B’s and C’s. I’ve often struggled in high school due to a once undiagnosed disease that has been finally treated completely as of this year, UWF is aware that I have been sick and had surgery during the first quarter, and was adjusting with medicine the second. Because of this, my AP Stats class started off really bad, and now it’s getting to the end of the year and I’ll be ending it with a high D. (I currently have a 93% A and this has done little to raise it. All my other classes will be Bs and C’s. Is it possible they will rescind? I do have the possibility of bringing the grade to a B if I can get a 3 on the exam, but we won’t know until June. That also may be highly unlikely due to my struggling in that class. I’m panicking hard about this, so fast responses would be super helpful
I’ve read throughout threads on CC that you may want to speak to your high school teacher to see if there is some extra work you may be able to take on to help improve your mark before final grades are sealed in the books. The college itself should have policy somewhere within it’s acceptance information regarding rescission. If not, inquire with their admissions office so you can be prepared to follow their course of action should your admissions go to review. Good luck!
