Will One D In My Senior Affect My Provisional Admission?

Hello all!

I was accepted into CSULB during the beginning of February with a provisional admission. I fear I might be rescinded because I am receiving a D this semester in my Precalculus course.

My other grades for this semester are listed here:

A --- AP Government
A --- Computer Graphics
B --- Physics
A --- AP Literature
B --- AP Art History

My cumulative unweighted GPA for my overall high school transcript is 3.51, and weighted, 3.76. This semester, my unweighted GPA would be a 3.17, and weighted, 3.5.

Some additional information that may be of use:

-I was accepted into CSULB under Pre-Biology.
-I will be graduating in three days with honors.
-Earlier in the year, my counselor called the Admissions Office and told her that I would not be rescinded if my GPA did not drop drastically.

Feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like your GPA won’t drop precipitously. One “D” is not enough for that. You should be fine.

That was one of my thoughts. Hopefully everything turns out for the better. Thanks for the insight. @xraymancs‌

same situation as u are except i was accepted to cal poly pomona with a 2.8 gpa. and i received a D second semester of senior year. that is my only D in my high school career, i received a 2.2 gpa second semester with a. 68-precalc C-anatomy B-chinese 4 C-english 12 B- ap gov/econ

wondering if this would result in a rescind ^
