Will CSU schools rescind my admission for a D first semester of senior year?

It’s the last week of the semester and I got a D in my computer programming class. This is not a core class and I only took it to fill some space in my schedule. Other than the D, I have 2 B’s and 2 A’s but one of the B’s is an AP class so it would be weighted as an A. When I applied for CSU schools, my weighted GPA was 3.3 out of 4.0. My SAT scores were 1570. Now my GPA is 3.2 weighted. If I do get accepted to CSU schools, will they rescind my admission because of that D and lowered GPA? I applied for CSULB, CSULA, and CSUSJ. Please help! Thank you.

yes. they might. But no because of decreased GPA, but because of D.

The majority of the CSU’s require that you maintain your current GPA (some wiggle room) and no D’s or F’s, Senior year. You will need to contact each CSU when you are accepted and see how they will handle the D. There is always a chance they could rescind your acceptance (s) but most schools are willing to work with you for a solution.
