I'm putting down the College of Arts and Sciences, but do they make you state your major in the application?

I'm just worried because there wasn't really any science related things to do at my school, so putting Biological Science down would look strange with my theatre background... Does admissions care, or would they even possibly not accept me because of that?

You do not have to have a major indicated in the application. There are a good amount of people who got into CAS undecided.

You don’t have to declare a major until second semester sophomore year. Whatever you put on the application is just an interest at this point. You won’t officially be enrolled in a major until you apply to the major which at the very least isn’t usually until the second semester of your freshman year (I think this is different for biology though).
