Will Rutgers rescind my decision offer?

Guys I’m really worried…

So I got into Rutgers NB

and after applying I dropped out of high school (upon completing 3/4 of the 1st semester of senior year).

And then I found that I was accepted and in the hopes that I can still go there I took a GED and sent them my diploma.

So I had grades for the 1st semester of senior year for completing 3/4 of it. But then the school gave me all F’s for all the
assignments/ exams I missed after dropping out.

So I do think that there is a record for my transcript which is horrible like 3 D’s but my gpa boils down to at least 2.0 for the 1st semester of senior year.

Will Rutgers ask for my senior year 1st semester transcript and will they revoke my decisions when they see my horrible grades? (which is due to fact that they gave me all F’s for incomplete assignments/exams upon dropping out)

Help!

Unfortunately, Rutgers will almost certainly rescind your acceptance. Your acceptance (to any college) is typically “contingent on satisfactory completion of high school” or something along those lines. You need a plan and fast. Either, get back into school, look for other options (online high school maybe?) or explain your situation to Rutgers and hope they sympathize (I assume there are extenuating circumstances). Good luck.

Talk to the guidance counselor at your school and see if she can help you. A lot of colleges will accept a GED. You can always start at a community school and transfer.
