How do they make decisions?

Upon the basis of Freshman - Junior grades. By the time they give you a decision, you're not even finished with the second marking period (first semester). They may ask you for midyear grades, but that's an extreme rarity, only applicable if you're borderline in or not and your essay did no justice.

okay this is where it gets tricky. Senior year grades do count! So don’t slack off and begin failing all your classes. TRUST ME. I know people who did and got rejected from their schools. But it’s no pressure. Honestly, just keep your grades pretty well, and you should be fine. It’s senior year so don’t forget to have fun :)

How “bad” does one have to do in his/her senior year to have to worry about having an acceptance rescinded ? Thanks.

for Rutgers if you get a couple C’s i don’t think it would matter. 3.0 would be fine for sure.

For other colleges, 3.0 is bottom line.
