Will schools like UCI and UCLA still accept if you get a C in a non prereq class?

<p>i think im going to get a C in my biopsych class but its not part of my major. I'm a business major. if the rest of my grades are solid mostly A's do i have a good chance?</p>

<p>UCI if u have all A’s but that one class
and a sat score of 1900 ur basically in</p>

<p>UCLA on the other hand…the C will hurt but its not impossible
I know a friend who got in with a avg GPA weighted of 3.8 and unweighted of 3.4 (like 5 Cs…he took a lot of APs and Honors)
then again he got a 35 on ACT and got in AIME and his EC’s were amazing</p>
