Will study halls wreck my chances?

SSo I was told recently that colleges don't like people with too many study halls, and so I started to get worried because one year I had a lot of study halls, but now I only have the ones I need, and my grades are good, and I have pretty good EC's, so basically my question is will too many study halls affect my college chances?

Hey!
I took a study hall freshman year. People looked at me and said, “you have study hall?” I was confused, then learned about the saying it hurts chances for college.

Well, you are on good academic terms now. I can’t imagine adcoms neglecting you because of some study halls freshman year. If you really want to make up for it, ace those APs, or take courses at the JC. And if the colleges don’t accept you, their loss.

If you have rigorous courses, and ECs, to compensate, I don’t think it is going to hurt you much.
