Hi, I didn’t realize I was supposed to send my scores to the colleges. I know it is optional, but my counselor recommended I do so. My scores are decent: Math 790, Chem 710 and two APs (Chem and Lang) 4. I went ahead and submitted these, but they are not yet showing up on the portals. Do the schools automatically add them to my application, or is there a chance they will just sit there in cyberspace waiting for a RD application?
They will still be considered if they’re a little late. Did you self-report your scores or were they also on your transcript? Many colleges allow you to do that and then you have the official ones sent if you matriculate.
Hi @Groundwork2022 I did not self report. I went ahead and sent the official scores to all of them. Yes very pricey!!
So 3 things:
1/ No college expects an AP score report. Those are only sent to the college you will be attending. You could have saved $$ by just sending an update to your application.
2/ Some colleges do not update the portals with optional items. If they do update, it may not be timely. If you are concerned that they received, call/email and ask.
3/Your application will not be moved to RD, and your updates will be considered.
Good luck
