I took my sats this year and did pretty bad due to a fever and sleep deprivation 2130, and then i recently took the act and got a 35 however stanford requires me to submit both. On the application can i submit my act as my main test score, because if i submit both i dont want stanford to think that I think 2130 accurately effects my academic abilities. Will they see I took which one first? thanks

Most schools take a charitable view of scores when there is a range. 2130 is not horrific, although a 35 ACT is better. My guess is that if you are accepted or rejected, it will not be because of your standardized test scores.

It will most definitely not put you at a disadvantage. Even though you are required to send both scores, they will consider your highest score.
