will the D3 coach help my chances at emory?

I'm a track and cross country runner who recently filled out a recruitment form at emory. Within 2 days, the head coach emailed me back, saying that he is impressed with my academic skills and athletic abilities and that he hopes to see me next year on the team. He also said he will keep in contact, that he added my name to the email list, and will keep me posted on the admissions process. How much help will this be for the DIII school?Furthermore, my SAT score is low within their range, and my math score is poor ( CR:700, W: 750, M: 630). I'm also looking at UNC chapel hill, but couldn't compete since it's D1 and i'm not fast enough haha but since im out of state i don't know if i have a shot ( the reason i'm drawn to unc is because of the much lower cost)
As for other stats:
4.0 GPA, 4.3 weighted ( no Bs ever)
5 APs taken: one 5, two 4s, two 3s ( taking 5 next year, total of 10 out of 13 offered at my school)
class rank: 9/280
Cross county captain, mvp, track varsity, xc varstiy, numerous awards
french club
year book
interact
envirothon

What are my chances? will the coach help me get in? and chance at UNC as well??

i think being a recruited athlete helps your chances enormously. i think you definitely have a chance and should be a shoo in if you up that math. jw what are your xc times?

yeah i don’t really want to take the SAT again but my times last year were around 19:50 (i’m a girl) but i’m hoping to run low 19s this year
