Will the GMAT substitute for the GRE?

Im considering of applying to an MBA program that requires the GMAT (not either or). The other programs ive been looking at require the GRE or dont require anything at all. With that being said, I hate standardized tests, but know I’m gonna have to tackle it. So if this is gonna be the case, can I just study for the GMAT, and then use my GMAT score to apply to all the schools im interested in, even the ones that require the GRE?

Likewise if I cant, if I just study for the GMAT, is the GRE similar enough that I dont have to double study? Plus, taking one test will make my wallet happier.

No. You have to provide the test scores that each program asks for. The tests are all quite different. Law schools have their own test as well, the LSAT.

GRE is different than GMAT so no
