Will the SAT II impact admission?

Okay, so I am contemplating on whether to take the SAT II or not... I want to go to UF, and it says it isn't required, but will it strengthen my application if I get 700+ in Math, World History and US History? I'm really not even sure whether they'll look at it or not.

Oh, one more question, can you combine the ACT score with SAT II's or are the SATs only compatible with one another.

Yes. They’ll take anything legitimately impressive about you and consider it in your application.

You cannot combine the ACT and SAT II’s

UF does not consider SAT subject test scores unless you are a home school student for whom they are required. In that regard, UF is typical of the vast majority of public universities.

So will it make a difference to my application if I can get 700+ in 3 subjects?

Not to UF. But there are colleges that require, recommend or consider subject tests and for those they would mean something. For list see [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group)

It cannot hurt to take the SAT II’s. You can choose not to send the scores in if you do poorly on them, but they can only help you if you get >700 on each!
