Will they still accept my scores?

I also applied to UGA under EA and am concerned if that was the right decision. At the time of application, my ACT score was only a 26 (it is now a 29) and my Sat was 590(math) and 620 (critical reading.) I KNOW my SAT scores are low, but I retook them and the new scores will be in November 23 (will UGA use them for admissions for EA?) I have a really good feeling about my SAT scores, so hopefully they will use them and I will not get deffered because I really dont want to write another essay. I am either #1 or #2 in my class, and I will probally be valicdictorian! I am also the star student of my school. MY GPA is 3.9 (unweighted) and I took AP USH and made a 4, and am currently taking AP Biology and AP Lit & Comp. I have taken nothing but honors and advanced courses.

As far as Extra-Curricular Activities:
President of BETA & HOSA
Yearbook Editor
FBLA Public Relations Chairman
High School Representative to the Board of Education

SO WHAT ARE MY CHANCES, AND WILL UGA USE MY NEW SCORES?

i’m in a similar situation, your scores should balance out with your high gpa. UGA won’t use your scores for ea, but if you are deferred, you should be able to send the new ones in for regular decision

ok thanks :frowning: lol

don’t worry about it, sounds like you’re in either way :)

Valedictorians and salutatorians are guaranteed acceptance to UGA, by the way.
