I was overlooking my self-reported transcript and noticed something interesting. I took Economics Honors at my school first semester senior year. I put it down on the website as HL (honors credit). I checked the UC website for approved a-g courses and economics honors was not even an option. If its one of those honors classes that don't receive honors credit, I'm worried Cal will take back its offer. Anyone know what to do?

You should probably notify them asap.

That is just one class. No worries. When I was looking at the title, I was thinking more along the lines of "Did they make a mistake on admitting me.."

Some classes I took that were honors level didn't appear so in the drop-down menu, so I called Cal and the admissions people told me it was fine if I listed it as it said in the transcript, the admissions officers will ultimately determine it. No worries!

i'm actually having a somewhat similar problem... i forgot to put a summer course i took at a local community college (philosophy, i got a B) because it wasn't on my transcript until the spring of this schoolyear. i just sent them an e-mail about an hour ago, but i'm very scared :(

Don't worry SuigenL, why would they care that you took and extra course?

djmotothefo:
I think you're fine... it was purely an innocent mistake and it's very easy to believe that. (or WAS it a mistake? :P)

I'm such a worrybug, that's for sure... Thanks White_Rabbit, it means a lot! (I really meant the thank you, there's no sarcasm! :))

I had something happen similar last year and I'm guessing they have so many application, things like this they completely ignore. I put on my app a year long art class that was supposed to be the vpa (I think that's what it is on the a-g list), but it turned out it hadn't been approved. So I took a CC course in photography that was transfer approved that would fulfill that section. Long story short, I kept sending in the transcript to Cal and it never showed up on the myberkeley checklist -- just my hs transcript. I was freaking out, called admissions and they said no worries. It ended up as college credit on my Cal transcript, so they obviously got it. Just get your final transcript to them by their deadline (last year was July 15th) and get your cc to send your grades directly to them as well. It's the best you can do.

Everyone should really calm down about thinking Berkeley will rescind your admission. It only happens very rarely, and the counselors will almost always find some way to work it out with you. You were accepted for a reason, some stupid mistake on an application is not going to change that.
