Will this be frowned upon?

So, my school has seven periods. You can take UP to seven classes. Most kids only take 5.

At my school, I take:

AP Biology
AP Environmental
AP US History
AP Language and Composition

Academic Decathlon, which is technically a class, but I chose to not have it on my transcript.

So I'm taking five classes at school, the normal, but only four will show up.

We can take math at a place partnered with my school in smaller groups. I take Honors Pre-Calc there.

And then I'm taking AP Macro/Micro through FLVS.

So I have six classes on my transcript, but only four are actually at school. Will this look bad?

Bump 10char

It probably depends on where you want to go, but yeah kind of…

if academic decathlon is your 5th class, why did you choose to not put it on your transcript?

anyway no matter what the reason, it could hurt you, but you could definitely make it hurt you less by explaining in the additional information section that you’re taking 6 classes even though they don’t all show up on your transcript.

^
Six show up on my transcript, but it was actually seven classes. It will just look like this:

Fall 2011 (Insert) High School

AP Bio
AP Environmental
APUSH
AP Language

Fall semester @ Math Center
Honors Pre-Calculus

Fall semester @ FLVS
AP Econ

Maybe you can have your counselor note this in the school report. It also kinda depends on where you want to attend. The APs prove that you’re willing to challenge yourself with college-level classes. If you can score high marks on the AP tests (if you’re a junior next year), you can really prove your potential
