I have seen that colleges sometimes allow you to send in other supplements (art etc) along with the common app. I had a really unusual idea sometime back and had been pondering over its feasibility!
I am looking forward to apply to Ivy League colleges (international applicant) - from India.</p>
<p>For the past ~2 years, DJ-ing at a Club (as a resident) has been one of my ECs (mentioning it in the Common App), and I have had the fortune of opening sets for some pretty popular DJs in India. Have met Nikhil Chinappa and opened for him :D</p>
<p>So I was thinking, how would it be if I send the colleges one of my mashups/mixes or something?
Yes I know it sounds like a joke haha, but seriously! I know its a very weird idea but well who knows right?
I wanted to ask you people if you had any idea how the adcoms might respond to that. Will it upset them? Or make me stand out?
Also if someone has any anecdotes regarding something like this, it'd be nice if you could share! :) Thankyou!</p>
