Will this count against my chances?

Ok i'm going in for engineering. If i have all A's and B's for my pre-professionals which so far there all A's, and my overall GPA is in high standing will it count against me that back in 2004-2005 i had a lot of W's for non college credited classes?

I had health issues back then and because of it i have a really bad withdrawal trail but none of those W's counted toward my degree/major.

Is it fair to say once my Pre- professional GPA and overall GPA is a great standing they wont may much attention to those W's?

P.s I did talk to one of the engineering advisers during the engineering tour I took, and he said because of the lack of engineers there rarely ever turn you way if you completed all your pre=professional courses. I don't know if someone can confirm this. Thanks for any feedback.

Can anyone shine a little light on this post please? Any information is appreciated.

You’ll get in. It is easier to get into engineering anyway because there’s a lower retention rate than other programs because I would say it’s the most difficult major. So the fact that you have all A’s in your pre-reqs I can’t imagine there’s any way they’re going to care about W’s in non pre-req courses from 5-6 years ago. My boyfriend got in and he had some bad grades from when he first started and he had mostly B and B+'s in his pre-req courses.

Ty so much I feel so much better! Really appreciated it :)
