I miss the deadline for the need-base financial aid application,
and I am going to send it anyway. (i figured late application is better than nothing)

but what happen?
will i not get a financial aid, or will i get left-overs(significantly low?)??

thanks in advance.

p.s : btw, it's a college that offer 100% need-base financial aid. um..

do anything you can to get the FAFSA done on time or the CSS, whichever is required. After that, it will depend on the school. One private to which we are applying requested a form in January, when I called, they said they are flexible, though the form indicates a specific due date. SO, you may just have to wait and see what happens.

Many schools have apps and/or financial aid forms due this week. They are swamped with mail plus phone calls of people checking to see if all of their documents were received. If you get the forms done within the next few days, you will be "on time."

At places that guarantee to meet 100% of students' documented financial need, you will still get the aid that the college believes you need.

At the many places that provide aid based on: first come first served/and which applicants are most desired, you will be at the back of the line, and the aid may run out before your application is considered.

In addition to the things that NSM mentioned, you may also be at the back of the line at schools which are not need blind in the admissions process, because your application is incomplete.
