Question:
"We know that diversity makes us a better university - better for learning, for teaching, and for conducting research."

Share an experience through which you have gained respect for intellectual, social, or cultural differences. Comment on how your personal experiences and achievements would contribute to the diversity of the University of Mich.

I have pectus excavatum, which is a chest deformity where your ribs are sunken in. So, would it be good to address how it has affected me as i've grown up and what I have learned from it that have made me a better person.

it sounds good to me... good luck!

i see i guess how that could add to diversity at michigan but how would that cuase you to gain respect for others? It souunds like it will be tough to answer the question but it could be a decent essay. Also i dont think that they really mean physical diversity (so it might not work for adding diversity to umich) but rather how you have merged your beliefs/thoughts/ideas with those of others to become a different person. Just say some gay **** and you shodul be good lol.

I really like your idea...but I think it would help if you madea focus on how it helped you sympathize and understand others with physical problems/disabilities...I think many people in high school, college , and beyond neglect those people without trying to understand what theyre going through...I think your essay could really stand out if you write this the right way
