Will transfering be a possibility?

OK!
First off, hello there!
I'm new. This place seems very useful if done right, I suppose.

Alright, here's my situation.
I applied to the main campus of a college,
in the hopes of getting onto that specific campus
due to the classes I need for my major.
However, they told me I was not at the top of their
list and thus was admitted to one of their regional campuses
in the school's chain.

I was wondering if I did really well in my Freshman year of college,
if it would be easier to transfer into the main campus?
Would that be a possibility?
Because I would need to go there for the specific programs they have.
Freshman year, as I understand it, is just a good time to get the
basics out of the way and to build your GPA.

So, (from maybe experience) what would be my chances?
And/or what would I have to do to make this a reality?

Thanks for helping, if you can!

this is totally a possibility (just do well!)

There might be some sort of internal transfer process that helps students on regional campuses transfer to the main campus. Talk to you adviser to see if this is a possibility.
