will UCR still accept me???

<p>UCR already accepted me but my grades from 1st sem were bad
im scared they reject me
so here's the spheal:</p>

<p>ok, so i slacked off REALLY BAD my first semester.
I failed AP CHEM
and got a D in AP FRENCH
luckily im still in french but i still hate the class
the good thing about this is that BOTH of these classes were excess classes, meaning that i didnt even have to take them in the first place</p>

<p>so 2nd semester, i have a A's in all my classes
except 2 C's in my AP classes but its guaranteed theyll either stay C's or go a bit higher
(T_T I hate AP)</p>

<p>do you think UCR will still accept me for the fall?</p>

<p>With a ~87% acceptance rate and 10+% of the student population coming in with a HS GPA below a 3..... you're fine.</p>

<p>Just be sure to be honest about it and inform them ASAP. The contract requires you to inform them if any of the requirements are not met.</p>
