I’m sorry if I’m missing something major here, but I’m having a hard time understanding what this question actually is.

lol i guess if you don’t have a job or somehow manage to survive without eating or housing, then yeah, you don’t have to pay any tax in America

i think this was what the OP was going for with his question: is government health care evil or REALLY evil???

Of course when you’re born, that costs the hospital money, and that is taxed too. Even if you don’t go to a hospital, you need a birth certificate for a social security (which is thereby needed for… everything else), and that costs money too… a tax. If you move here from another country, visas cost money (goes directly to the government). So sorry "member’, but you do have to pay.

You don’t have to be born in a hospital. My cousin was born in a van, had no SS# till he was 22.

Even if we consider that you need to pay some fee to be born you can still have a choice to pay it. Or you can pay it and then be free and untaxed. You didnt have the choice to be born, and thus those who bore you should be liable, not you. What im talking about is a annual tax on life. if it is really forced that you have to have insurance of some kind, it seems to be the only way to get out of it is suicide. Im still not sure if it is based on income tax or not yet like pandem said.

There is no annual tax on life lol.
If you have no income, you don’t have to pay anything.
Don’t ever hold a job. No one will attempt to collect taxes from you.

^That’s not entirely true. If you buy something, such as food in a restaurant or clothing, you pay taxes. Of course, you could go live in a cave and eat berries. Then I suppose it would be possible to avoid taxes. And no healthcare policy will change that, since the government is not going to go looking in caves for people without health insurance.

■■■■■! ■■■■■ in the dungeons!!

i reiterate the OP’s ignorance

unless you’re gonna live off of the woods and be born without any help, you’re are gonna be paying taxes at least indirectly

around here theres no tax on clothes, and outside restaurants, grocery stores, for example, theres no tax for most food. just saying …

I guess I stand corrected…not everywhere has sales taxes. But my point stands…every dime you pay a vendor will have a fraction that ends up in the government’s hands.

I honestly don’t care. After seeing Sicko, perhaps a nationalized system isn’t that bad. I’m sick and tired of townhall fools spouting nonsense. Obamacare will be awesome, I’m sure.
