Will Williams Host Me in the Dorms for a Night?

I'm hoping to visit Williams in a week or two.. but I'm wondering if they'll put me up for a night like other colleges. Here is why I ask:

I won’t be able to visit on either of the official Preview days, so I’ll be visiting on a random week-day. I’m concerned because the "Williams Preview" pamphlet seemed very clear that they would NOT be hosting students for the night of the day-only session. Will they be similarly stringent about overnight visits on other days?

I’ll call them tomorrow if I can get the chance (damn time zone differences makes is tricky)... but I really hope it works out.

I don’t think I’ll be able to evaluate Williams fairly if it turns out to be the only school where I can’t spend the night... :(

Thanks!

I am assuming that they would let you stay in the dorm with a host if you called the admissions office.

You can tell them exactly what you told us!!!

Thanks Mikey.. I hope you're right!

That said, I just noticed this on the Williams website:

The overnight stay, which includes three meal tickets, will be arranged by the Purple Key Society, a student-run organization housed in Office of Admission. You may visit most evenings, Sunday through Thursday, from October 3 through December 9 and February 13 through March 10.

Yikes! :(

What do you think.. is that site the "real deal" OR are they more flexible when dealing with admitted pre-frosh?

Trust me .... They'll be flexible.

They will bend over backwards to convince you to enroll. (or at least they should )

Let us know how it goes!!!!

Thanks.. I sure hope so! :)
