Hey guys.
So last semester (fall 2017) I was admitted to W&M for the spring semester this year! After being waitlisted from tech and REJECTED from uva, it was amazing to get into a tough semester especially at such an elite school!
Here’s where the problem comes in at…due to a teachers strict syllabus I ended up not passing her class. (I took 18 credits , 7 classes. Both chem and bio, stat and history as well as Spanish). I have a good relationship with the dean of admissions and she was very nice but I was deferred for the fall instead. I still have to go under review it’s just a different process to assure I get to attend in the fall.
My question is how rare is it that students who are deferred don’t get to actually get back into the school?
I have All as right now, and the teachers class I’m retaking was kind enough to email the dean and let her know my process. I’m still very nervous and just wanted to know the chances?
