I’m looking to transfer into William and Mary this fall and have completed the application for fall entry. I have a 3.4 at Virginia Tech with a strong midterm report with only 1 B+. What are my chances of getting in as a transfer and how much longer to you guys think we will wait for decisions to come out? I know that the deadlines say that decisions come out in early May, but I’ve noticed that they usually come out a week or so early consistently. I’m anxious because I love the university and my Fiancé got in to the MBA program for fall and I’m praying to not be separated for the next two years. Please Help!
I have been reading through their Admit It blog. Decisions tend to come out the 4th Thu or Fri in April, so just a few more days. Good luck!
.
decision released today, fyi.
accepted
Congratulations. My daughter got in too!
I got the waitlist letter, which wasn’t what I was looking for but better then nothing I suppose. So now that this waitlist game has started does anyone have any information for how many transfers got off the waiting list for the past couple years. The freshman waiting list acceptance rates aren’t pretty at all with something like 1,800 getting an offer for the list AND accepting the offer and only 180ish getting through.
Congrats Duster and islandvol!
Did you find out that you were on the waitlist on 4/26 or did you just find out today?
My decision letter never came because they told me that they’re still reviewing my application, but I have a feeling that it’s going to be either a waitlist or rejection because they’re spending extra time with it.
What program did you apply to?
I got waitlisted too Any tips to improve my chances?
I found out on the 26th. I applied to get into Mason for finance, so a far reaching goal. The stats for getting off the waitlist are not pleasant. There at 20-30 students accepted a year off the waitlist so we will see if any of us gets lucky. I’ll let y’all know!
