William & Mary Class of 2019 ED Applicants Discussion

@valiente The point of not specifying a date is in case of some sort of unexpected hangup. Narrowing the window to the 10th means that they’re confident that the process (so far) is running smoothly and no longer requires a broad cushion. It’s a good sign! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if decisions are sent out this week.

I’d bet on this Friday

And yeah I’m doing the decisions/results thread for sure

I feel better now because i think they clarified that they will send out ED decisions as soon as they are done, but now they are spending less time on ED and more time on transfer so if they HAPPEN to finish at the same time they will be released together, and will both definitely be released by hte 10th AT THE LATEST. or at least thats how i interpreted it. @daniil450‌ if you make the thread I’ll participate. OMG now i will just be refreshing the blog page every 30 secs between 8:00:00 and 9:00:00 every day haha

Haha I’m right there with you @Excitedforschool‌
We aren’t allowed cell phones during or between classes at my school, and the teachers are like hawks about it. I’ve never had a problem with that in the past, but I’ll do just about anything at this point to check the blog as often as possible haha

Created a results thread PLEASE PARTICIPATE once you receive your decision.

Wow, that is an intense template! But thanks for posting it @daniil450‌

To pass the time, check out W&M’s Ampersandbox. It’s a really cool website! <a href=“Undergraduate Admission | William & Mary”>http://ampersandbox.wm.edu/deck/submitted

@valiente no problem!

I say if William and Mary doesn’t send out the decisions by the 10th, we all get free admits?? Sounds good to me!

Great plan! But I think they will :wink: @jpvn2015‌

Since I’m a gap year student and got accepted last year…would you guys like to see what my stats were coming out of high school? I applied regular decision.

@1sparkle2 that would rock!

No problem!

@jpvn2015‌ Well, I hope you get in. I hope they evaluate you on the total picture and not just the numbers. if “positive vibes” count for anything, you might be in good shape!

@Leyland I really appreciate the support from you and everyone else here. :slight_smile: You all seem so nice and cool, and have been cheering me on despite the fact my strongest part of my application is my 2070 SAT lol.

Whatever happens, we all have to remember that we are much smarter than the average person! It’s easy to get caught up in this all and forget how hard we’ve worked to get to this point.

Wise words @jpvn2015‌ I hope we all make it, and if we don’t, we’ll all end up where we’re supposed to be.
