Got it, in any case, if you are an early write, take advantage of the “wooing” phase to learn as much as possible and to get to know the professors at Williams, they are a tremendous resource and can serve as life long mentors.
Should we expect early writes to go out this Friday, March 9th?
And is Friday, March 23, the best bet for all RD notifications?

Last March 10, which was a Friday, my son received an email saying simply that the decision had been made and was available on the portal. The early write itself was on the portal. So if they’re doing it exactly the way they did it last year, Friday, March 9 is a good guess.

You are really going nuts, aren’t you, MaybeH? I have recent raw memories of the whole awful process too. Exactly 6:06 EST. Financial aid offer was there too. I hate to feed in too much, but it might be possible that the portal was updated an hour or even two before the emails went out.
If you were a participant in WOW, does that increase the likelihood of receiving an early write?
Yea def. I was a WOW participant and the accept rate for those students is 98% like you’ll prob get a likely. If not def accepted rd

@Volunteerism I asked an admissions officer there and they basically told me that.
Cannot find the page to check application status? It seems to have disappeared…!
For WOW, during one of the sessions, one of the people in admissions said that there was an over 90% chance for us. A WOW participant from a couple years ago who helps in the admissions office said to our table that it was around 96%.
Let’s hope what we heard is right!
@momo2x2018 It can’t have. Just go to your email, search “Williams” and open the email they sent you right after you submitted your application. It should have the link there. If that doesn’t work then maybe it has disappeared. #-o
They literally told us if we submit an application and keep our grades up we’ll get in. Everyone cheered lol :))
