Williams College, willl i get in?

So, i was looking at some stats, and it turns out taht accourding to USNews, Williams is the #1 liberal arts school in the country right now... that scares me a little bit. I really want to go there (I'm applying early), and it makes me kind of happy that the percentage of kids accepted early decision is 40. that's huge, no? anyway, 690R 760M 690W, 5 bc calc, I'm taking a multi variable calculus class at Dartmouth college now (i got to Highschool in Hanover, NH... otherwise i'd apply to dartmouth... but it's my home town), debate, 3 varsity sports year round, etc etc.... GPA is like... 3.75 total... but this first quarter i'm not doing so hott... 3.6ish? anyways, assuming i write a good essay, or whatever, what do you think my chances are this year?

i'm pretty sure it's not possible to convey how much i want to get in, especially Dec. 15 w/ early d. any advice/comments/whatever are more than welcome

thnx y'all...

ND... if you guys want i can send you my essay if you message me... it's nearly finished if you want to read it... it's pretty... different? i'm not sure..

thnx

i went there last weekend during their diversity program.
they focus a lot on writing though. it counts as a third sat ii, they average out the three.
the admissions counselors are wonderful, very friendly and helpful.

Williams is very tough, my friend who got 800 lit, 800 history, 1540 sat, 3.7 unweighted gpa didnt get it. however, this year i have a friend whose applying who's national merit semifinalist, i'm sure if you write a extremely good essay you have a chance, but it would definitely be a reach. competition is very high as well.

Yan ling...i was at the diversity program last weekend too. i'm from texas. were you at the airport with us before we left?

the one at albany?

yea. i was there and eric, sarah, jacquita, veechy, eduardo were there too. we were all sitting at the airport talking before our flights left. were you there too?
