hey y’all! I got in too. I’m planning on going in September. Because the trip is all expense paid, are we allowed to visit other colleges e.g Harvard and MIT, since we are already there?
Thanks

Williamstown, MA is very very far from Boston

its about 3-4 hours away, which is a lot closer than chicago is to boston!

Yay congrats to all of those that got the trip.
Just checked my email and I was so happy to see that I received the confirmation email.
Can’t wait to meet you all! :]

I’m low-income, but not first gen.

I assume that they gave fee waivers to all of the “decently competitive” and low-income applicants, while others didn’t? Would anyone like to confirm/share their thoughts?

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!

I’m confused as to what airport we are supposed to specify I live in a town with fairly steady domestic air routes to other larger nearby airports (Detroit, grand rapids, Chicago). Should I fly out of my airport (traverse city) then transfer at one of these or should I try to drive to one of these bigger cities and fly from there?

Oh okay, 3-4 hours away does not sound too bad, right? Do you realize we are not going to have the luxury of a car to drive all the way to Boston? If you’re going to take a public transit like a train, it will you take you about 8 hours, which no one will allow you to do during your time at Williams.

Again, Boston is too far given the circumstances, so forget visiting Harvard, Tufts, or MIT. Just relax and ENJOY your time at Williams! It’s going to be great.

Accepted, and registered today!

Flying out in October, and doing Amherst in September.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

I’ll be seeing some of you tomorrow!

Yup, see you tomorrow!
