Good luck to everyone! I have been sort of stalking the CC message boards but I finally decided to just get a username when I saw this thread. Like you guys, I’m pretty much dying with anticipation. I promised myself I wouldn’t get my heart set on one school but I fell in love with Williams the moment I walked on campus, so so much for that. I really hope I get in ED, b/c I go to a small public high school, and two of my (more qualified) classmates are going to apply regular.

Question about admissions:
When they send an email, what time do they send it out?

I am so anxious. Does anyone know what time the online list is posted on the 15th? (by this i mean is there any point in saying up until 12:00 am? haha.

I’ve gotta say I’m really really anxious. Our letters could be in the mail right now!

Good luck to everyone! My best friend is applying to Williams and she is just as nervous! I’m sure you’re all qualified and I hope you’re all happy on the 15th! :)

Hi everyone! I’m like IronyMan and totally got a username so that I could post on this thread. I’m applying ed and am really nervous for the decision, which is in two days now! I’m just waiting for a letter or an online decision…

On friday I anonymously called the admissions office and they said they were mailing out decisions on the 15th and decisions would be posted online a couple days after that.
Hopefully this isn’t true (and decisions were mailed the 12th and will go online the 15th as mentioned earlier on the thread)… anyone heard anything similar to this?

Last year they were equally confusing about when they would send the postcards/when they would post online–the way it ended up working out was that no one knew the entire weekend before when it was actually going to happen (I for one was freaking out), then they sent an email on Monday (the 15th) afternoon around 5 eastern that decisions would be released online at about 8pm. (and they were, although it took me about twenty minutes to get the decision cuz the servers were so slow with everyone trying to check at once)

So hopefully they’ll do that for you all too?

Oh man. I was sort of anticipating a letter tomorrow if they indeed did get mailed on the 12th. This indeterminate anxiety is really killing me.

I live in Mass, and for RD I got my letter the day before we could check online, so I’m guessing that they mail the letters out a day or two before.

I can’t wait for the decision! im freaking out!!!
ive heard many mixed responses about when the decisions would be posted online, but I am still lost. Would anybody know exactly when the notifications will be posted online for international applicants? GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!

I, like many of you got an account just to reply to this thread.
Im soooo anxious!
which website do you go to to check the admissions?
is it peoplesoft?

I have no idea Douglass. I think they will send it to your email. But then again I’m not really sure. If you live in the United States (unlike me), I would suggest calling the admissions office and finding out all the details! I would appreciate it if you can lets us all know what they say! thanks!

I just called the williams admissions office. they said that on tuesday the 15th at 8 pm eastern time they will release the notifications on the PeopleSoft accounts! I pray and hope for the best!!!

Good luck to all of you. My D was anxiously awaiting to hear from Williams last year at this time. Wow- that was a very stressful time, so I feel for you. D is now finishing up her first semester as an Eph and absolutely loves it! That said, please keep this all in perspective. If you don’t hear the news you want to hear tomorrow, you will be okay. Next fall, when you are happily ensconced at your college, whether it’s Williams or elsewhere, the emotions of Dec. 15, 2009 be a faded memory. So look forward to the future, whatever your ED results are. :)

Thank you, CCG mom. On behalf of Williams ED nailbiters, that means a lot. I want to wish everyone good luck, and apologize now for all the poor fortune (I’m 70% joking) that I wished upon you all when I realized how hard this school was to get into. Wherever we all go, I hope we all have the best of educational experiences.
Try not to think about it during class tomorrow!
