Seriously, shouldn't birdbrains find it self-evident to avoid wind turbines?

Maybe they're doing some good by imposing some good natural selection on the dumbass birds.

Right, because things will work out great for the ecosystem if we are okay with killing all organisms we deem less intelligent than humans.

Solar is better, anyway.

Nuclear is the best, but unfortunately it will destroy the earth and create a black hole or something.

Wind energy, hmmm, what about methane energy? I mean, methane is powerful stuff, you know? LOL.

What if I told you that we had the technology right now to harness a giant nuclear fusion engine?

What if I told you that this giant nuclear fusion engine had more than enough power for all of humanity?

What if I told you that this giant nuclear fusion engine would run for billions of years?

What if I told you that it was called the Sun?

What if i told you that the sun will explode in a trillion years or so, destroying Earth in the process? hmm?

What if I told you that converting all of chicken1992’s mass into energy would supply ALL of earth’s needs for thousands of years?

A few billion. By then, all the wind, nuclear, geothermal, and fossil fuel sources on Earth would be gone anyway. We would have died out or moved on.

Forget wind energy, we just need to make more power outlets and USB ports so everyone can charge their ipods.

^^ Ahahahhahaa!! I hate not having enough USB ports

Solar energy doesn’t work for everyone. Maybe is the Southwest, were the sun is plenty. But the Northeast the sun only comes during the summer. After that its hardly enough sun. So solar power isn’t the ultimate source of energy for everyone.

^I really feel bad for the people in the Northeast. I could never imagine having to go to college there, even though there are some kick-ass schools there; the idea of having to be surrounded by snow and cold temperatures for 4 or 5 months per year makes me shudder.

Still, I think nuclear energy is a feasible option. It’s not as dangerous as many people think it is; Chernobyl and Three Mile Island have just scared the s–t out of America.

You know what I just realized? There’s unlimited energy if we get all the chicken in the world to run on a treadmill to generate electricity. Chicken loves to move and by the time they’re exhausted, we can cook/roast/bake them. :D

@314159265 Actually its very great. Its awesome having all four seasons, and a white Christmas. The summers are hot, spring is cool, and autumns are mild. The winter can be cold yes, but the snow fights, snowboarding, and time to stay indoors in front of a cozy fireplace with family is rewarding. Trust me it isn’t that bad, its not the arctic.

I love the NE.

I’m from the Mid-Atlantic, but I want the NE to be my home.

Too bad energy can’t be transported.

Covering 3% of the world’s desert with photovoltaic cells would produce all the energy used by humanity.

I just have a rather low tolerance for cool temperatures; for me, northern CA is borderline too cold. But, if I do end up matriculating to some Northeast school, I’ll have to adapt. I just love being able to wear a t-shirt and shorts 9 to 10 months out of the year here in SoCal.

we can just force hamsters to breed more, and have hamster babies power all of our stuff

durrrr

^^hamster babies are so small, I’m not convinced their energy would be sufficient to power the world… :D

^That’s why I suggested chickens instead of hamster babies since chicken have more mass to burn, and trust me, I know, chicken have a lot of meat on them, Yummy:D.
