winter 2007 schedule

It will be up on monday the 30th.

First round registration starts on November 1st.

Just that ya'll would like to know.

I'm just thrilled that I'm not going to be stuck to choose from the "left-overs" this time.

Does anyone else thing it's the stupidest thing ever to only give people TWO DAYS to plan their schedules. CUZ HI, I DO.

I like to plan.

Actually, enrollment in classes begins on November 16.

http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/Calendar/calendarf06.htm

K that makes much more sense.

Nov 1 seemed awfully early.

errrr november 16th...november 1st is when you can check your appointment times.

got a little overzealous there..

Does anyone know the breakdown for enrollment? Like for class standing and all that?

Students in priority groups [this includes athletes, honors, aap, ge cluster]

Seniors with 160 or more units

New and reentering students eligible for advance payment and/or enrollment

Seniors with less than 160 units

Juniors with less than 135 units

Sophomores with less than 90 units

Freshmen with less than 45 units

http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/soc/enroll.htm#Undergraduate

yay for the top 2.

how about the actual dates?

Won't know until the 1st.

But generally priority is the first 3-4 days, then first pass for normal seniors, then juniors, etc. Just goes down the ranks. First pass only lasts 10 days or so, so it's not like there's a huge, huge gap. But it still can make a difference.

mannn, i still have sophomore standing with 75 units. :(

But next quarter you'll presumably be at junior standing, or at least very very close. So yknow. There's hope!

i just better get the classes i need...

hi me too.

what is cluster priority enrollment? is it to ensure that if we're in a cluster, we can continue it next quarter??

pretty much. though you dont necessarily have to use your priority pass to sign up for your cluster.

right, but if we want to continue the cluster we sure oughta

youre guaranteed a spot in the cluster, so you could use the units for something else, but if youre interested in a particular TA for the cluster then you could use it for that

when do find out when our pass is?
