winter formal

Ok, so I have this girl in mind but I am not yet very close to her. She knows I'm interested in her, and I know she's interested in me. But we both also know that we want to get to each other more first. I call her randomly sometimes... just some backround.

So the real quesdtion. I don't see her outside of school, but our formal is coming up in a month--and I want to ask her to the formal by tomorrow. How should I do this? Is it a little bit lame if I go to her house (I know where, because I dropped off her christmas present) and just give her a rose, and ask her to the formal?

Thx guys

no that sounds really sweet, I hope she says yes

That's not lame at all. Aww that's so sweet, I hope she says yes too.

If you're already giving her christmas presents, i think your in dude. But girls are unpredictable, so don't quote me on that.

Sounds perfect. Advantages - it is excrutiatingly hard to say no when the damn patronizer is at your doorstep ;) plus its romantic and suave as hell.

Obviously play it cool. Act like you know she'll say yes already. The only thing that could get you a "no" is sounding desperate. Smile, laugh, make some jokes...make it a fun and happy moment.

Good luck and have fun.

What the flower shops close on new years eve!??? DARN IT!!!!!

Thx all!

Loveky,

I've actually done that exact thing before... In fact I did that for my Winter Formal back during my senior year of high school... You'll be glad to know that it worked well. When you're standing there at the door with a flower, it's just about impossible for them to say no. Best of luck.

i am going to winter formal and want to know who pays for the dance tickets, restaurant, and pictures. thanks!

dance tickets: guy
restuarant: guy
pictures: girl

usually

why is it always the guys that pays????? its the girl that is asking the guy...so shouldnt they pay??

"When you're standing there at the door with a flower, it's just about impossible for them to say no."

I just think that's interesting

sounds pretty wild!
that's cuteness!

Sorry, just testing out my new 2006 phrases. last year was "that's pretty hot", and yes, I DID say it before paris did. And I added the pretty.

aww. that sounds adorable :)
