I didn't get a bid at the fraternity I wanted this fall, and had a few questions about winter rush.

Should you re rush a frat?

How big is winter rush and how much harder is it to get a bid then as compared to the fall?

How do I make sure that I stand out during rush? It is so hard to have unique conversations with every brother during rush. At the fraternity I was hoping to get a bid from all of the brothers knew my name and had spoken to me multiple times. I think I went wrong by being a little too serious during my conversations with them and coming off as a stiff.

What are fraternities looking for in members?

How many fraternities should you rush, and how much time should you spend at them? There were so many conflicting rush events that I ended up only being able to really rush two frats, and wasn't able to explore all of the options available to me.

What are topics of conversation to discuss during rush? I tried to avoid talking about partying and drinking since I didn't want to sound like I was trying too hard

Any advice you have would be really appreciated!
