Chem 140B has 3 classes: Burkart, Theodorakis, Whitesell. Any suggesions for these 3; and is is worth considering 140BH (hons.) with Weizman?

How about between Scheffler and Zhao for BIBC102, and BIBC 100 with Towb?

take scheffler for bibc102..just go to all the classes and discussions and youll have a great clue on whats going on for the quizzes/tests

I took 140BH last year with Weizman...I would only take it if you really really like o-chem! Well I guess even if you don't like o-chem THAT much you still might want to consider it because it's a very small/discussion-based class, which was a nice change for me. If you have any specific questions about it just let me know.

Burkart or Theodorakis are both good choices to have in terms of professor quality & teaching skills, personally I wouldn't go for Weizman or Whitesell.

I took Zhao for BIBC 102. Some people say his accent makes him very difficult to understand, but I didn't really have that problem. BUT, his final is ridiculous, 100 questions, multiple choice = no partial credit and pretty difficult. Thanks to the final, I almost got a B in that class. Oh, and he has a midterm at the end of week 2. But I also think that he doesn't give minus grades (seeing as I didn't get an A- for being 0.2% above the A/B cutoff) and that is always a good thing.
