Winter Term

Anybody applying for admission to the winter term? Does anyone have any idea how many app's they generally receive for winter term? I was thinking that there would be a shortage of people applying for the winter so that might help my chances of getting in.....but im not sure.

Any comments are appreciated!! :)

I'm going to be a student at Michigan this fall so I'm not going to be applying with you, but I do have something to say about this.

If you're applying for winter term, I actually think it may be even more difficult for you to be accepted than if you just applied for fall term. UMich will have filled each class by then since they start each school year in September, and the only spaces that will be available to you are those that used to belong to people that just dropped out or transferred for some reason. You won't be the only one applying for these spaces. Plus, UMich already has more students than they originally wanted in the classes of 2008 and 2009. Too many people accepted their offer of enrollment.

Don't think you're going to be able to get a "back door acceptance" by doing this because it won't happen. If you have high stats, then you should be fine, but if not, I'd just wait until next year if you want the highest chance of getting an acceptance.

Well the app came out a week ago and I submitted it 4 days ago so there is nothing I can do about that now. If I dont get in this time I will just get a 4.0 at wayne state this year and apply again for fall. Stats are below however.
