I'm going to attempt to transfer to Santa Clara University in the Winter as a mid-year sophomore transfer. I went to USF (University of San Francisco), SCU's rival school, for my first semester freshman year. Then i filed a leave of absence, and moved home and started going to community college. I'll have just enough units to be elligible for transfer, and i'm wondering if i have any shot at all.

College GPA: 3.65
SAT score: 1230
Major: History

I left USF to pursue a job as a volunteer at a non-profit outdoor science school here in Santa Clara County, and have 4,500+ community service hours. I plan to continue to my volunteer work while at SCU.

BUT my high school GPA was a 3.1 (but my course load was all AP and honors classes). I don't know if that will have an effect.

do i have any shot at all at SCU?
