Wireless router

My daughter will be living in Dickinson. I understand that there is a hardwired internet connection that will work with an ethernet cord. Is it permissible and/or possible to hook up a wireless router so that she doesn't have to be tethered?
Thanks

No, it is not permissible:

Your D can just connect with UD’s secure Wi-Fi which is available to students in the dorms. However, sometimes the signal strength can be low so I would recommend that when in her dorm room she use the ethernet connection when doing on-line class work (to avoid losing work if she loses the Wi-Fi connection suddenly). Perhaps they have upgraded their Wi-Fi system and this may no longer be a problem.

It looks like they definitely upgraded the wireless in the dorm because in the past they never claimed that it was available (certainly not for everyone).
