Wisconsin-Madison vs William & Mary for undergraduate business

I’m discerning between Madison and W&M for an undergraduate business education. More specifically, I’m interested in entrepreneurship, business management, and investing.

In which place would I receive a better education, recruitment opportunities, and alumni connections?

Also, what is the environment like in W&M? From visiting Madison, it’s seemed something like a place with a lot of parties and a lot going on. W&M seems quieter and a bit duller, but I haven’t visited W&M and this is just going by first judgements.

You should take a look at the Poets and Quants site. They specialize in business school rankings and have more depth than other sources I’ve seen. That said, I’d suggest to evaluate more than just the business school. You will likely take quite a few classes outside business and you may even change your major, as many (if not most) do.

W&M is going to be quite different from Wisconsin. It is much smaller and Williamsburg is much smaller than Madison. Weather will be quite different, as I’m sure you know. W&M will probably feel more like a liberal arts college or similar sized small universities like Wake, Brown, Dartmouth. I’d suggest reserving your judgments until you are able to visit. Since they are different, it will probably help you form your views.

@IzzoOne Where even are their rankings? All their site is are articles and articles about their rankings without an actual list anywhere.

@GreatMysteryofC does this link work? The rankings start on the 4th page when I pull it up.
