I am applying to the hotel school in which a math subject test must be submitted. I stupidly did not take level one, so now all I have is my pitiful 610 math level two score. My ACT is a 31, which is alright I suppose, but I am worried that the score will be an instant rejection for me. If it matters, I am also submitting a 700 chemistry subject test. My GPA etc. are fine and quite high, but this subject test is killing me.

I read on the site that a surprising number of students in the class actually have SAT I scores below 600's (http://www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/admissions/ugrad/stats.html), so it leads my to believe that the hotel school picks largely on fit.

*In addition, I was wondering what my chances of getting in are if I have never worked in the hospitality industry?

What do you think?
