Withdraw From a Dual Enrollment Course Due to Technicality

So, I am doing a high level math class online through dual enrollment, and I was finishing up the test. My teacher, for some reason, wanted all the pictures to be in like a PDF format. So, I took the pictures and converted to a pdf and sent it over. I only had 30 seconds left, so I didn’t check if the pictures were properly rendered. Fast forward a week, the pictures didn’t render. I ended up getting a D because most of my work I took through photos didn’t properly render. I tried emailing the professor, but she said that she couldn’t give me any credit.

Now, I am worried about what to do? Should I drop the class, take a W on my transcript and explain this situation to the colleges and take the same class next quarter with a different instructor. I can also maybe talk about how online classes are something I really hate. The other issue is that I can’t take the next math course I intended to take next quarter tho. I need to decide by tomorrow.

Or do I try to continue taking this class probably ending with a C or at best a C+/b- because its very hard to overcome a D on a 1st half final test. The class break down is 85% tests, 10% quizes, and 5% homework.

Don’t. It sounds whiny.

Don’t. It sounds whiny.

Whether you drop and retake is up to you, but your current grade is entirely your responsibility. Own it.

Welcome to college. Be happy it’s not 100% tests.

How many tests are there? Perhaps you can still get a b. Agree that complaining on your college app is a bad idea.
