<p>Does anyone here know how adcoms look at "W" 's? Was anyone here successful at gaining acceptance to their school of choice with a W?</p>
<p>I was currently taking 18 credits but droped a class.</p>
<p>yeah, i also have a W, in physiological psych. I was the only freshman in the class, and it was WAY more difficult than i thought it would be. I talked to the prof. and he said it was the best thing to do instead of getting a low grade. I hope it doesn't hurt too much, but i'll be taking another psych class next semester(behavioral neuroscience) to make up for it.</p>
<p>One or two Ws will not kill your chances. Many students choose to drop a class rather than take an F. Just don't drop too many classes and you will be fine.</p>
<p>thank GOD. I want to go to Penn so badly, I don't want anything to hurt my chances too much.</p>
