Withdrawing applications?

Hey everyone. On Friday I got my ED decision from Vassar College (Vassar 2015 :D ). Now I have to withdraw applications from other schools. I only sent in the common app/supplement to all the other schools I applied to without paying but do I need to withdraw those/should I so they don't start emailing about the missing components of my application? If so, how do I go about doing this?

Thanks for the help!

I would just send an email to the admission office of all of the schools that you submitted an app, or part of an app, to stating that you were accepted ED at Vassar and would like to withdraw your application. That should clear up any confusion about missing pieces.

Congrats on your acceptance!!

I’ve been sending this email to schools where I applied or sent scores. I’m getting replies congratulating me and acknowledging the withdrawal of the app:

I also just got in Vassar ED! Woo! And I was also wondering about withdrawing the applications.

I, however, have not submitted my common app or supplement to any of the other schools. Is removing them from my common app college list enough or should I email them as well?

Ok great thanks everyone. And congrats Kayneu! We’ll be seeing each other next year :D
