Hey guys. I am applying ED to UPENN but I am only going to submit my ACT. If and when I apply to other schools, I would like to submit subject test scores only to colleges that require them (Such as Dartmouth). How would I go about doing this on the common app? Do I have to edit the common app before each time I submit the application to each college? Thanks guys !

yeah, pretty much

doesn’t choosing to not self-report scores circumvent this?

If this is your plan (just beware that a school that does NOT accept score choice like Penn could punish you in the future if they find out that you lied on an application), then you could make another version of your Common App and only list Penn and other schools that do not accept score choice. This way, you wouldn’t have to report subject test scores. But again, be aware of the consequences.

Well for these schools I would not be violating their “no score-choice” policy, because I would be sending in the ACT in lieu of the SAT and Subject Tests.

So you guys are saying I just need to edit the common app testing section for different groups of schools before I send them in?

Is it possible that I just send in scores directly from college board and only self report the act on the common app?
