<p>The SAT II's not required anymore.
Some people have said it makes your application looks better, but it's not fair for people who only have SAT or ACT but SAT II.</p>
<p>Well, you see…say you have a similar application to someone, but that someone took the SAT II and did well on it. He/she is more likely to be accepted.</p>
<p>That’s how I see it, anyway. It also depends on which UC you’re applying to and which college in the UC. For example, I’m pretty sure that Math II is recommended for UC Berkeley College of Engineering, and we all know that recommended means required.</p>
<p>(Or at least, that’s how it is where I come from…)</p>
