I cannot *ing believe this. So last night, after about 6 straight hours of studying, I set my alarm to 7:05, thinking, "yea thats plenty of time to get there by 7:45." I wake up, to the sound of no alarm, thinking "oh *" and check my phone, its 7:55. While yelling multiple profanities I throw some clothes on and rush out the door. Hoping that this is too early for cops, I speed into town only to not find the *ing test center. I finally find it at 8:20 and rush in. I go to the subject test room and see no one is there so I try the sat room. A woman is giving the test instructions and assuming she is the proctor or whatever, I tell her what happened. Beyond the embarrassment of being late, the entire SAT room is basically laughing at me. * them. Apparently I was the only person taking the subject test and the guy left. She calls the guy and heres how (I think) the conversation went:

Woman: Hey, Caleb ***** is here.
Guy: Are you *ing serious?
Woman: Yeah, can you come in?
Guy: Nah its too cold.
Woman: Are you sure?
Guy: Yeah, I feel like *ing this kid over for college. hangs up

So now the woman tells me it doesn't matter if he won't come in, it's past 8:15 anyways and they'll fill out a Incident report form. I then ask her, "am I screwed?" and she basically says, "yes, your ed." I'm trying to suppress my frustration here but it is very, very difficult. I succeed, to a point, and thank the woman (she was genuinely nice) and leave. My alarm (in my phone) I find out now was set to Monday-Friday. I changed my school alarm by accident. *** mother ******* ******** ******* ******. After thoughts of finding the subject test guy and trashing his car, I instead decide to write a long, profanity laden rant on collegeconfidential. I think I chose right.

Some questions after this:
1. Is there anyway Columbia will let me take the March 4 one?
2. If not, can I get my money back?

Thanks everyone.
